I’ve been working as a professional translator for a little over 10 years, and one constant headache has been getting a fast, reliable word count from live web pages when quoting projects, estimating turnaround, or planning SEO / localization audits. To make life easier I built urlwordcount.net - just paste any URL and it gives you a clean word- and character-count.

I’d love your honest feedback:

• Does the count look accurate on the pages you try?
• What extras would actually help your workflow (batch URLs, export to CSV/JSON, per-section counts, readability stats, CAT-friendly formats, …)?
